Map of Avebury

Sep 23, 2011 about art, natural world, stone hugging 3 2865 Views

I’m delighted to announce the publication – at long last – of my newest hand-drawn map; of the unique and ancient village of Avebury in Wiltshire.

It shows all the features you’d expect – the henge, stones, shops, houses, pubs and roads¬† – and some you wouldn’t expect! But my maps are more than just maps, they my love letter to the place shown, and so it is with Avebury.¬† Expect information, people, animals, quirkiness and expect to smile.

To those of you who have been watching its progress, I’m sorry it’s taken so long (I began mapping in April!) but it’s been a difficult summer and doing this map has kept me sane. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have drawing it.

1. folded in a full colour cover (pictured right)
2. flat printed on high quality silk paper and signed by the artist, suitable for framing
